The Vase

The Vase was created because the artist, an avid gardener, wanted to capture the joy of cutting flowers from her garden and bringing them inside. This piece memorializes those blooms into a textile form that lasts far beyond the life of cut flowers, bringing together her two lifelong passions: gardening and quilting.
